Speech and Debate
State Quals - 03/17/2006 - 03/19/2006
Hi folks. The second state qualifying tournament (of three) took place last Friday through Sunday at Westmont H.S. The debaters worked Friday and Saturday and the speakers had their last shot on Sunday. The league qualified ten policy teams and nine Lincoln Douglas debaters. In individual speech events, the top three qualified, except in Foreign Extemp. (A bogus protest against another ruling-we were not involved- cost the third slot at the second qualifier...not that we're bitter. :-))
Please congratulate the following speakers and debaters. Quals for state wrap up this Thursday when JP leads the Congressmen to their qualifier at Kehillah Jewish H.S.)
Thanks for your continued support. Kim for the coaches.
